The debated, United States and Israel-funded Gaza relief foundation says it is concluding its humanitarian work in the Gaza region, following nearly half a year.

The organisation had earlier paused its multiple aid distribution centers in Gaza following the truce agreement between Hamas and Israel came into force in recent weeks.

The organization attempted to circumvent United Nations channels as the chief distributor of relief to Palestinian residents.

International relief agencies refused to co-operate with its methodology, saying it was questionable and hazardous.

Many residents were fatally wounded while attempting to obtain sustenance amid chaotic scenes near the foundation's locations, primarily from Israeli forces, based on UN documentation.
